Out here, we measure most driving by time rather than miles. The understatement of the year might be “We do not have a traffic problem.”
Cochise County is the size of Connecticut and Rhode Island put together. We have approximately 125,000 people, 60,000 of which are concentrated in and around Sierra Vista. Our Inn is approximately 15 miles southeast of Sierra Vista.
Our county and the next county west (Santa Cruz) are loaded with western history and great places to spend a whole or half-day. Most attractions are within a 45 minute scenic drive with the longest being 90 minutes.
If you wish to tack on a couple of days on the front or back end of your stay with us, Tucson (about 2 hours northwest in Pima County) would be a good choice.
